Getting Real About Product Safety
Too often consumers get swept up in a name brand, flashy marketing, or social media hype about a specific product. Just because someone famous is advertising it, doesn't make that product any better than another. Just because an influencer has created a viral sensation from it, doesn't mean that product is any more effective than another. Let's be real. This is all just marketing and paid for popularity and you bought into the hook.
Here at the CCPROMUA facility, I pride myself in using and recommending only the safest and most effective products on the market (that don't break the bank). The products used here in my services are cruelty free, toxin free, and most are even vegan. It doesn't matter how pretty the packaging is or how many views the product has, especially if use of that product negatively affects the health and safety of those that decide to use it. So here...it's all about safety first.
That safety refers to more than just my clients. As an animal lover and pet owner, I cannot in good conscience use any beauty products that allow animal testing when this practice is no longer a requirement. Even China has lifted that practice when it pertains to general cosmetic products. If you struggle to find cruelty free/ vegan products, check out sites such as crueltyfreekitty.com or ethicalelephant.com for extensive lists and valuable information. And if you are one of my clients, you'll find all of our in-house retail products follow these same guidelines and uphold the highest of standards for safety and effectiveness. If you have more questions about your favorite beauty brands, feel free to reach out to me at cheryl@ccpromua.com and I'll be happy to help guide you in the right direction.
